“I think one of the successful pieces of school choice is to be able to let parents determine what's important to them and what schools they would like to attend. And when you find one it's important to be able to replicate that particular product and in Minneapolis we have replicated our Spanish dual-Immersion program. ”

Three Things to Consider

Consider the following:
  • Use program data to identify and replicate successful programs
  • Demographic data should be analyzed to assess appropriate locations for choice programs
  • Based on program data, unsuccessful programs should be altered or closed
